Paintings on Masonite

Newly finished painting of the Bountiful Temple. 6"x4" acrylic on Masonite. These images show the painting in my studio just before putting on some of the finishing touches, hanging in the living room, and a closer look at some of the brush strokes. I learned a lot putting this thing together. It'll be nice to apply some of that learning in my next project.

Working on some temple pieces that I could screen print and maybe hang in the house. Looking to nail it with 2 or 3 colors. I've still got some ideas to push around, but here is where I'm at so far with the project.

Each of these drawings was taken from a sketchbook I kept while serving an LDS mission in Lima, Peru. It is fun to be able to scan them into the computer and add some life to them with textures and lighting.
