Sue Lemon
I put this together thinking of a 3 color label. Maybe it has a home on a cardboard box full of lemons or something. Sue Lemon got her name from the popular Neil Diamond song titled "Soolaimon" which has a mysteriously unknown meaning.

Bauer Study
Demonstrating my limited skill in coloring in Photoshop, but I think I've finally gotten to a place that I'm comfortable with. Took the 40 minute sketch taken down during an episode of 24. It took a while to figure out what I wanted to end up with so you see a version in the middle with some textures I decided against using. I also decided to reinvite some of the original lines from my sketch in the final version. Added the 24 logo, and tweaked colors a bit so that each componant nested well together.

LaserTab
LaserTab: a hip choral mixture which just might include Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, and an ABBA medley. This poster is more or less an exploration for me in getting several elements both graphic and photographic live in the same space. The laser glow is the glue holding everything together here. This is not an actual event for the choir. Yet.

Happy 25 years
He-Man and Teela 25 years later. I was interested in diving into the beloved color palette of my youth in the He-Man cartoon series and spread that out in this very awkward pose our our heros He-Man and Teela. He-man has kind of let himself go, he's got a gut creeping over his hairy underwear and a receding hairline. Teela has aged yet is still trying to make that outfit work. She's had some work done on her bust and her face to preserve that youthful look, but the grey streak of hair shows her age. Let's be honest, we all wondered if these guys were going to hook up one day.

The Pretty Boy
Everyone a Princess
All my sister-in-laws made the claim growing up, along with my wife, that they sounded exactly like one of the Disney princesses when they sang. My daughters make similar claims now. This is another exercise in using existing color palettes--the exact colors that help us identify each of the characters here. Finding a balance between my sisters-in-law and the actual princesses was tricky, I tried to stay much more true to the princess style hand gestures to get the Disney princess look.
