My June Cleaver

This picture explores putting a character in an uncharacteristic environment. Still a ways to go to pull something like this off effectively, I've seen it done much better. I decided to make the character have a June Cleaver presence with a little bit of pin up girl attitude in the pose.

Figures

A quick study here on figure gestures. It's good practice for getting the shoulder line and hips aligned to make a more lifelike pose.

Snarr Crest

This is the official Snarr family crest. I dug up an old copy in a family book of remembrance. It was an old copy and had been colored in with colored pencil. It was in poor shape. I recreated it in photoshop with some nice texture layers, brighter colors, an updated font, and refined some of the sketched portions with the Wacom tablet. Finished things off with a subtle vignette on the edges for a much more polished look.
