There are a few things I see in the new set of sketches that I like, but I'm not seeing them as a step forward in most cases. I had a new pencil with a softer lead to use for this go around, which proved to be problematic the first session. I ran out of pencil lead completely by the end of the session, and the 30 minutes leading up to that point were tricky to draw how I wanted to. I feel like I finally loosened up by the final hour of the last session.
